Supreme x Oreo
Just when you thought COVID-19 could put a halt on all spending for the rest of 2020, we are met by a new Supreme release. The headliner of the pieces from the collection is none other than the most recognizable American dessert since 1912, an Oreo cookie. The Supreme x Oreo collaboration comes at a time where little is left for surprise. We see the Oreo silhouette outfitted in red cookie dough with traditional white filling. The branding that normally reads “OREO” is replaced by the classic box logo design. They will retail for $3 a pack, with an estimated resell over $50. To debut, the iconic partnership Supreme has tapped the appropriately notable Instagrammer “Breadface”. Moving on from her usual antics that involve faceplanting various styles of bread to sweet tunes, she set the mood in traditional Supreme fashion by donning the red cookies in a semi-bitten seductive fashion in between her teeth. The images look to be a zoomed-in edit that has a fairy faint like quality that evokes the child-like adolescent energy, that is, Supreme.
